This beanie pattern is named after a pond in the designer's town in Oregon. The design of blossoms in one color is reflected above in the opposite color combination. I added some additional yarn to the flowers to make them stand out. This is truly one of my favorite patterns to knit, as it exciting to see the design develop as I knit along!

This is knit using my favorite yarn too: hand dyed Merino wool, from Malabrigo of Uruguay. The colors are a mottled dark grey, called Pearl Ten and a variegated yarn with reds, purples and oranges, called Anniversario. It's topped with a removable grey faux fur pom pom with rust colored tips.

Like all hand dyed Rasta yarns, this is a one-of-a-kind item. This Merino wool is known for its warmth and softness. It is odor resistant and  absorbs moisture, keeping your head warm and cozy. This hat will wear well and last for years to come. We advise hand washing.

It measures 8.5 inches tall, 16 inches around, and stretches to 22 inches, so it will fit most adults.

This listing is for the hat only. One of the photos shows it with a matching headband.
