This one got its start with ski patrollers and river guides in Taos — the first people to really put it through its paces. Their hands and lips took a real beating from wind, cold, and sun every working day, and cracked fingertips came with the territory. Word spread fast once they found something that actually helped, and it became the thing they never left for a shift without.
We built it around cranberry butter, kokum butter, and tamanu oil — all rich in antioxidants — to soothe and nourish whatever's cracked: fingertips, knuckles, heels. Then we tried it on chapped lips, and it turned out to be just as good there. Used regularly, most people find it keeps the cracking from starting in the first place, on lips or skin.
